Consul General Cornelis M. Keur Calls on AP Minister for Minorities, Waqf, SSA, Primary Education and Libraries, Thursday June 18, 2009.

Consul General Cornelis M. Keur called on Andhra Pradesh Minister for Minorities, Waqf, SSA, Primary Education and Libraries, Mohd. Ahmadullah at the Secretariat on Thursday June 18, 2009.

The Consul General discussed various aspects of primary education and minority welfare and shared ideas with the Minister in order to improve the primary education system in the State. During the meeting the Minister and Consul General also discussed how to encourage child education, particularly in rural areas.  They also discussed the need for better primary education for girls in the State. The Minister thanked the U.S. government for setting up the Consulate General in Hyderabad as it would help the citizens from Andhra Pradesh to schedule their visa interviews faster.
