Emergency Visa Appointments

Emergency appointments are available for medical and family emergencies.

  • Go to the VFS website and read their FAQ on scheduling earlier appointments.
  • If no urgent dates are available, email the Hyderabad consular section at HydNIV@state.gov for assistance.  Include "Request for Emergency Visa Appointment" in the subject line, and describe the basis of your request in the body of the email.
