Questions? http://hyderabad.usconsulate.gov has all the information you need for visa applications.  However, inquiries may be sent to HydNIV@state.gov.  You may also call our Consular Section Customer Service Unit between the hours of 9:00 am to 11:00 am and 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm weekdays at +91 (40) 4033-8300. However, We request callers restrict their inquiries to urgent/emergency matters.

Section 222(f) of the Immigration and Nationality Act considers information concerning visa applications confidential and will be discussed only with the applicant or the applicant's legal representative.

About pending passports: If you have not received your passport within 5 working days of your visa interview, please send an e-mail to HydNIV@state.gov and include ‘Pending Passport for More Than 5 Days’ as the subject line for a faster response.
