When To Arrive At The Consulate General For Your Interview
Beginning July 6, we will strictly enforce our policy of allowing visa applicants into the Consulate General for their interview no more than 30 minutes earlier than the time indicated on their appointment letter. If you try to enter the Consulate General grounds more than 30 minutes before your interview, you will be asked to leave and return at the appropriate time.
Our goal is to shorten the amount of time each applicant spends at the Consulate General waiting for their interview.
As there is no parking near the Consulate General and only limited facilities for those arriving early to wait for their appointment time, the Consulate General encourages people to plan their trips to the Consulate carefully so as to arrive on time for the interview.
Additional information on preparing for your visa appointment is available here.
